Topshop Blush in Afternoon Tea - a highly blendable formula in a sweet shade of pink

Topshop Blush in Afternoon Tea

The Topshop Blush in Afternoon Tea is a cream compact blusher in a
light, sweet shade of pink. Highly blendable, the cream formula melts
easily to a very slight powder finish. Wear alone or with makeup.
Instructions suggest you dot on cheeks - I prefer to use a sable blusher
brush to blend, but this blush is so soft it seems almost impossible to
over apply either with your finger tips or more professionally using a
brush. This compact blush with mirror is signature Topshop with its
delightful polka dot packaging delivering a quality beauty product. Love
mine! Get yours! Also available in Flush, a rose. £6.00 for 4g to buy from
Topshop stores nationwide or online.

Topshop Blush Stick

Topshop Blush Stick in Sneakpeek

In Sneakpeek, a pink, and Acting Up, a pale orange, the new
Blush Stick from Topshop is a gorgeous product. A small, twist up
tube in clear plastic and silver packaging, this cream blusher delivers
transparent, sheer, subtle colour to the cheeks. The Sneakpeek pink
I tested creates a lovely lavender pink pearl finish, a glowing effect with
an unusual matte appearance. The convenience of this product is its easy
application. Apply the Topshop Blush Stick straight from the tube to the
upper cheekbones and blend lightly with the heat of your fingertips.
User reviews suggest this product is sometimes a difficult one to blend
over foundation so it is possibly a blusher to wear by itself on
moisturised skin or blend correctly with a professional makeup brush.
£10 for 4g. A gorgeous product. Available from Topshop stores
nationwide or buy online.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush

14 Soft Pink
The advantage of cream blusher over powder blusher is its finish. Applied to bare skin or over a foundation, its cream texture beautifies the complexion. Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 14 Soft Pink, a warm pink, is not much bigger than a 10p coin. It appears small at first but containing an expert amount of colour, it’s the best cream blusher I’ve ever used particularly for Summer days when the skin is more naturally radiant. Preferably blend with a blusher brush to perfect coverage and to complement your own colouring choose also from 03 Soft Copper, 07 Soft Candy, 09 Soft Murano. £6.99. A rosy tone that lasts all day. Available from Boots or order online at www.maxfactor.co.uk

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush Update 19 February 2013
After I posted this review in September 2012, the product was used
extensively a month later in October 2012 during the Spring/Summer 2013
runway shows to create a number of looks that are current. Makeup Artist
and Max Factor Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath used the
Max Factor Creamy Blush in Soft Copper and in Soft Pink at the Stella
McCartney and Givenchy shows and at Versace, Bottega Veneta,
Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino. "I haven't seen this much blush since
the nineties", she says, "and it's good to see it back!".
