Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil 2-in-1 Gel Shadow and Liner - super soft, light and highly blendable

Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil
10 Fierce Lime
Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil
05 Caramel Rage

The Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil is a new 2-in-1 combined Gel Eye Shadow and Eye Liner. The Max Factor gel formula, an alternative to powder, is super soft, light and highly blendable. It allows a fluid application of the eight highly pigmented eye shadow/liner colours. The pencil is for precision along the lower lash line and the inside waterline of the eye also. It should be sharpened for extra, buildable colour and definition. Caramel Rage, Fierce Lime, Vicious Moss, Untamed Pink, Savage Silver, Bold Sapphire, Brazen Gold and Blue Ice Fury. The range of eight colours is an array, each one an unusual take on grey, green, brown and number 40 Brazen Gold is a superb, golden corn yellow. You will find the number of each colour just under the pencil cap in small print. These superb colours are metallic and very current, providing a seasonal Summer finish.

Colour number 10 Fierce Lime is a light, I think, apple green. 15 Vicious Moss is a light silver grey with a hint of khaki. 25 Savage Silver is a much darker smoky grey, an ideal colour for night time - it’s dramatic. Number 05 Caramel Rage is a classic, neutral brown, and an excellent, wearable daytime shade. Each colour blends beautifully and smoothly across the lower lash line and the eyelids. The Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil is not available in black. Extend the stayability of this light colour gel formula by using a shadow primer on the eyelids but I found this optional. This pencil is as excellent an eye shadow as it is an eye liner although it is not waterproof. It is opthalmologically tested for safe use or allergies around the delicate eye area. Colour eye shadow and liner in one, the Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil 2-in-1 Gel Shadow and Liner in eight unique shades - £5.99 (9G). Available online or at Boots and most high street stockists. The Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencil 2-in-1 Gel Shadow and Liner - another evolution in the technology of beauty.

Max Factor CC Colour Correcting Cream - the original CC Cream makes a return

Max Factor Colour Correcting Cream in Fair 30ml

Introducing the Max Factor CC Colour Correcting Cream £9.99 for 30ml, a small tube, in three shades Fair, Natural and Tanned with added moisturisers and SPF10. The latest CC Creams or Complexion Correctors use colour optics or smart colour-correcting technology to neutralise the colour of the complexion by blending away uneven skin tone, caused by redness, a result of broken capillaries, for example, or dullness or a grey complexion or a range of skin conditions including pigmentation and hyper pigmentation, the irregular lightening or darkening of the skin. The Max Factor CC Cream was launched previously by Max Factor in 2010 as Xperience, making it the original CC Cream, then a unique formula, now reproduced extensively by other brands. I found this particular Colour Correcting Cream provides a light or sheer to moderate coverage with a finish that, unlike ordinary foundation creams, needs no concealer or face powder, another idea behind the CC products. The Max Factor CC Cream fills open pores and softens fine lines and wrinkles also. It's lightweight, moisturising texture lends wearability and comfort, creating a glowing, naturally radiant finish. I suggest you wear your usual moisturiser before applying. The Max Factor CC Colour Correcting Cream, £9.99 for 30ml, an excellent product in three colours Fair, Natural and Tanned. Available from Boots or order online at  www.maxfactor.co.uk

Max Factor Eye Brightening Tonal Black Volumising Mascara

Max Factor Eye Brightening
Tonal Black Volumising Mascara
A brand new technology, the latest, in eye makeup - introducing the Max Factor Eye Brightening Tonal Black Volumising Mascara. Described as tonal, this black mascara contains light reflecting particles that are invisible and brighten and enrich the colour of either blue or green or brown eyes. There are three separate products - Black Pearl for brown eyes, Black Sapphire for blue eyes and Black Ruby for green eyes. The enhancing effects of this brilliant new mascara are made possible by the formula of invisible light reflecting particles and added gem-toned colour beads which customise the reflected light to enrich each eye colour, blue, brown or green. On application, I found it is featherlight. Gliding on smoothly, it really lights up your eyes and eye colour in the most natural way, an amazing effect of this hi-tech product! Product user reviews I read found this mascara lengthened also. Promising to volumise your eye lashes, and it does, by up to 300%, this product is a wonder product - it's highly advanced. Available for Brown eyes (the one I tested - pictured), Blue eyes or Green eyes, the Max Factor Eye Brightening Tonal Black Volumising Mascara. £7.99. Find at Superdrug and Boots stores nationwide or online.

Max Factor Mastertouch Under-Eye Concealer

309 Beige

The new Max Factor Mastertouch Under-Eye Concealer is a concealer pen with a unique absorbent tip for the precise application of concealer under the ultra-delicate eye area. Functioning as a concealer which blends away dark circles, it’s fluid light-diffusing cream can be applied elsewhere on the face to hide the usual blemishes. It gives excellent coverage. Moisturise your skin before applying to maximize the glide-on movement of the absorbent tip. This product dries quickly for efficiently delivered perfecting effects. Excellent alone or apply after your foundation and before your powder, a tip suggested by the international Max Factor makeup team whose Creative Design Director (Beauty) is the makeup artist Pat McGrath, formerly of i-D magazine. From the company who invented Erase, the original concealer, in 1954, the Max Factor Mastertouch Under-Eye Concealer is available in three shades - 303 Ivory, 306 Fair, 309 Beige. £7.99 from Boots stores nationwide or buy online at www.maxfactor.co.uk

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush

14 Soft Pink
The advantage of cream blusher over powder blusher is its finish. Applied to bare skin or over a foundation, its cream texture beautifies the complexion. Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 14 Soft Pink, a warm pink, is not much bigger than a 10p coin. It appears small at first but containing an expert amount of colour, it’s the best cream blusher I’ve ever used particularly for Summer days when the skin is more naturally radiant. Preferably blend with a blusher brush to perfect coverage and to complement your own colouring choose also from 03 Soft Copper, 07 Soft Candy, 09 Soft Murano. £6.99. A rosy tone that lasts all day. Available from Boots or order online at www.maxfactor.co.uk

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush Update 19 February 2013
After I posted this review in September 2012, the product was used
extensively a month later in October 2012 during the Spring/Summer 2013
runway shows to create a number of looks that are current. Makeup Artist
and Max Factor Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath used the
Max Factor Creamy Blush in Soft Copper and in Soft Pink at the Stella
McCartney and Givenchy shows and at Versace, Bottega Veneta,
Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino. "I haven't seen this much blush since
the nineties", she says, "and it's good to see it back!".
