For the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2013/2014 Ready-to-Wear runway show
held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France in February 2013, the set is a
globe, a globe of the world, and the circular runway, the floor, a map of it.
It's a view from the moon, a moon landing, or a moon walk and the
overhead shots as seen in the video, an approach. Presenting layers of Chanel
winter wools and tweed worn with white leather boots, the straight hair and
silver glitter eye shadow gives a pristine yet tuned-in impression, setting the
tone for the forthcoming season.
